Here is a good condition 1996 GMC Suburban, 4x4, 5.7L V8 Vortec - runs great. The truck has 185,172 miles on it. Has it's cosmetic defects, (see pictures) that I will list below. Truck has been gone through by a certified auto repair shop. Repairs done: new cylinder head, new head gaskets, valve stem seals and valve cover gaskets. Fresh oil change, new battery, new starter, tires in like-new condition, radiator flush, all fluids checked and passed inspection, new heater valve, and new spark plugs. Cosmetic Defects: Dashboard has a crack Passenger front and rear inside door latches need replaced Needs inside hood latch (but able to pop hood with hood cable) 3rd row seat is missing Carpet has some stains that can be professionally removed (I detailed vehicle myself and got most of the stains out) Interior panel of rear barn door is missing Clear coat is chipping Some dents throughout vehicle, but nothing major Missing passenger side front blinker lens (but all lights work) 2 small tears on driver's side seat History of truck: This vehicle was brought to us (we own an auto repair shop) by a customer to replace his cylinder head that had cracked. Customer's financial situation changed, and in exchange for the repairs done to his vehicle, he gave us the vehicle. We have looked it over and replaced the above-mentioned items and have done some maintenance to the truck. It's a very strong-running vehicle, just not something that we need. But, there is an electrical draw on the battery that can be traced by an electrical professional (electrical work is not what we specialize in at our shop), but we have narrowed it down to the lighting. Other than that, everything works perfectly - we just suggest that you unhook the battery overnight until you get the electrical draw fixed. Like I said, this truck really does run great. It's great for a family - just way too big for me which is the only reason I'm not keeping it! THE TAGS ARE NOT CURRENT ON THIS VEHICLE. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM OUT OF STATE AND WANT TO DRIVE IT BACK HOME, YOU NEED TO GO INTO OUR LOCAL DMV AND GET A TRIP PERMIT ($30). I HAD SOMEONE WHO WANTED TO BUY IT SO I UNLISTED IT, AND IT WAS TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE FOR THEM TO GO TO OUR DMV TO GET A PERMIT. IT WILL LITERALLY TAKE YOU 20 MINUTES, THIS IS A SMALL TOWN. SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. I CANNOT DO IT FOR YOU - ALREADY VERIFIED IT WITH SALEM HEADQUARTERS DMV. IF YOU LIVE IN OREGON YOU CAN JUST GO STRAIGHT TO THE DMV AND DO THE TITLE AND REGISTRATION RIGHT HERE IN TOWN. If you have any questions whatsoever or want a specific picture of something, feel free to contact us. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
